• Hardwood Chopping Board: Made from premium, food-safe, dye-free hardwood.

• Stainless Steel Soak + Rinse Colander (with Water Plug): Keep the colander plugged for soaking or take the plug out for rinsing. Its natural finish (without color or coating) makes it completely safe for food contact. This is like a heavy-duty mini-sink inside the sink and can also be used as an ice box for cooling beverages.

• Stainless Steel Multi-purpose Tray: Use it on its own as a highly effective defrosting tray to quickly and safely thaw frozen food, or use it as a cover for the colander—it fits snugly on top. NOTE: The Oslo deck comes pre-drilled with three holes: a standard 35mm center hole for your main kitchen faucet and two 28mm accessory holes. The first accessory hole is typically used for the included hand soap dispenser. The other gives you the freedom to install a second soap dispenser for dishwashing soap, a filtered drinking water tap or a glass rinser.

• Technical Note for Glass Rinsers: Because the integrated deck is recessed and relatively narrow, any third-party glass rinser you install must have a raised neck to clear the deck's slope.

• Not using the second hole? No problem. Sleek hole cover caps are included for all 3 predrilled holes. Simply ask your installer to cover and seal the unused hole.

FAQs

Q: Does the integrated deck make the sink bowl too narrow for large pots and pans? Not at all. In fact, the Oslo has exactly the same interior depth (380mm front to back) as the Neste. The Oslo V5 is specifically engineered to balance the convenience of a rear deck with a high-capacity basin. Furthermore, all Oslo sinks can be seamlessly installed into standard 600mm deep cabinets—there is absolutely no need to customize your carpentry.

Q: What is the difference between 304 and 316 Stainless Steel? The main difference is corrosion resistance. 316 Surgical Grade contains Molybdenum, making it significantly more resistant to rust, chlorides, and acids compared to standard 304 steel. It is the definitive choice for hygiene and longevity in SG kitchens.

Q: Are the PVD color and Nano coating permanent? The Nano-PVD color process (featured on our Gunmetal and Meteorite Black models) is molecularly bonded to the solid stainless steel. It is not a painted layer, so it will never peel or flake. However, like all premium dark hardware, it is a protective "living finish" that may gradually thin and fade over years of heavy friction. To maintain its rich sheen and water-repellent properties, simply use a soft sponge to clean and avoid harsh abrasive scrubbers.

Q: Is the sink scratch-proof? While the Oslo V5 is engineered to be highly scratch-resistant, no metal sink is 100% scratch-proof against heavy sharp objects. For the Natural Stainless Finish, minor scratches will naturally blend into the brushed grain over time. For our PVD coated models (Gunmetal and Meteorite Black), please avoid dropping sharp utensils or using abrasive scrub pads directly on the surface.

Q: Can I pour boiling water or place hot pans in the sink?

• Boiling Water: While 316 stainless steel handles boiling temperatures easily, we recommend letting the water cool for 5 minutes or running the cold tap while draining. This protects your home's PVC plumbing pipes, which can warp under sudden exposure to scalding heat.

• Hot Pans: We advise against placing hot pans directly from the oven onto the sink surface, especially on PVD coated models. Instead, please use the included multi-purpose tray as a trivet to protect the sink bottom.

Q: Will the silicone joint around the sink get moldy? The Oslo's integrated deck naturally prevents water from pooling on the rear silicone joint. For the perimeter, always insist that your contractor uses high-quality Neutral Cure Anti-Fungal Silicone during installation. Zuhne mandates the following brands:

1. Dow Corning (DOWSIL) 798 or 688

2. Selleys S601

Q: Will the sink rust? The sink is covered under a lifetime limited warranty against rust. However, you must ensure basic installation protocols are followed by your contractor.

Q: Are replacement accessories available? Yes, all workstation accessories can be purchased separately. The stainless steel accessories (colander, tray, drying rack) are dishwasher safe and rarely need replacement. The hardwood cutting board, being a natural wood product, may require replacement after years of use and should be hand-washed only.

Q: What do I need to note about Flush Mount installation? Oslo sink rims are 20mm wide and 3mm thick an all 4 sides - countertop recess routing has to be done accordingly.

Zuhne sinks conform to a 1mm rim evenness or flatness tolerance upon manufacture, which is required for flush or inset installation (this is significantly lower than the industry standard of 2mm). However, due to vibrations and thermal expansion during storage and transportation, this tolerance could exceed 1mm post delivery. In this case, the rims can be flattened back to 1mm tolerance by applying soft knocks using a blunted hammer. If considering flush mount installation, please discuss technical details with ID or contractor prior to purchase. While the sink can be installed flush mount, please discuss with your ID or contractor if flush mount is viable in your specific case.
