The 62cm sink, a hardwood cutting board, a defrosting tray, a soak + rinse bin, a drying rack, a 140 mm drain kit with a 2-stage strainer, mounting hardware and a cutout template. A tap is not included.

The countertop overhangs the sink rim by 5 mm on all 4 sides, so the silicone joint is tucked under the countertop edge. It stays drier because water wiped off the counter falls past it, and mould needs moisture to grow. The edge also stays easy to wipe, with no rim to catch crumbs.

For the 62cm: 570 × 410 mm for a 5 mm negative reveal undermount, and 590 × 430 mm for topmount or flush mount. Sinks have a size tolerance, so the template is a guide. For undermount, aim for the size shown, within 1 mm on each side. For topmount and flush mount, use the size shown plus 1 mm on each side, never smaller. Dry-fit before sealing.

Yes. Neste has no pre-drilled deck, so the hardware mounts on your countertop and you choose the hole size and position for each fitting. Check the installation requirements of any third-party product, and have your fabricator mark and drill the holes to your layout. We can only confirm compatibility for Zuhne products.

Neste is compatible with standard 600 mm deep cabinets, and can also be installed on countertops that are less deep, down to a minimum of 550 mm. Check the sink's overall size (460 mm front to back) against your layout, and confirm with your ID.

A solid base is strongly recommended, because Zuhne sinks are heavy-duty. The sink's rim sits in a recess in a base under the countertop surface, and the base carries the weight of the sink. Moisture-resistant plywood is the usual choice, and a cement base or a solid WPC board also works if it is flat and fully supported. The Installation, Care & Warranty Guide shows how.

The 5 mm negative reveal helps, as the countertop shelters the joint. Always insist your contractor uses high-quality neutral-cure anti-fungal silicone, for example Dow Corning (DOWSIL) 798 or 688, or Selleys S601.

316 contains molybdenum, which makes it significantly more resistant to rust, chlorides and acids than standard 304 steel. It is the better choice for hygiene and longevity in humid kitchens.

Yes. The offset drain position is reversible, left or right. Your plumbing outlet is usually still in the centre, so choose by how you work: wash close to the drain so water drains away without pooling, and keep the other side as a dry prep zone, away from splashes. Tell us your preference when you order, or confirm with your ID.

Scratch-resistant means it stands up better to everyday use and makes fine marks much harder to see. It does not mean scratch-proof, and no stainless steel is. Dragging heavy pots, steel wool and abrasive pads can still mark it. A sink mat or bottom grid helps in busy areas.

The Honeycomb texture is embossed into the steel and is permanent. The clear nano coating over it makes cleaning easier and thins gradually with use. The stainless steel and its texture underneath aren't affected.

Boiling water is fine for the steel, but let it cool for a few minutes or run the cold tap while draining, to protect your PVC pipes. Avoid placing hot pans straight from the oven onto the sink. Use the drying rack or defrosting tray as a trivet.

Yes, all accessories can be purchased separately. The stainless steel accessories are dishwasher safe and rarely need replacement. The hardwood cutting board is the only item that may need replacing after years of use, and it should be hand-washed only.

Built to be quiet. Zuhne's own Pro+ Sound Pads are over 4 mm thick (most sinks use about 1 mm) and cover up to 90% of the sink exterior (most cover around 20%). Thermal insulation covers the entire sink. Together they keep running water and clattering pots quiet. We don't quote decibel figures, because noise depends on your faucet, water pressure and what you're washing. The easiest way to judge is to see it in person: visit our Experience Centre to check the build and do a knock test.
